I love how weird our girls are.
Because I love how weird Whitney is.
How wonderful that, on account of her constant example, I get to be surrounded with so much of the weirdness that I love so much!
Whitney and I work different schedules. So our mornings usually consist of the following interaction:
“Morning.”
“Morning.”
I hope she knows how much I love and appreciate her, even when I fail to say so.
Whit graciously hosted our friends for dinner last night which required a trip to the store with two girls and a feverish mad dash cleaning frenzy to make the house presentable.
I’m so thankful that she’s willing to do things like that. And, I’m thankful that our relationship includes these particular friends.
Whitney and I share a mentor who eventually became my best man and our first-born’s godfather. I love that she looks up to him like I do.
Whit’s had a ROUGH week, man. But things are looking up and I look forward to her feeling normal again. I hate when she feels sick and I’m glad she’s on the mend.
