G’night, Whit. See you in my dreams!

G’night, Whit. See you in my dreams!
We were having a bit of an issue with our web host. But now we’re up again and back in action!
Whit is back in school this week. I sure miss her when she’s gone!
I had a ministry thing to do tonight. I left Whit home alone and bored for almost four hours. It means so much to me that she’d be so understanding with me.
I also have the opportunity to go to NAMM. As a VIP. I’m really excited about the idea. But going means cutting into our already thin time together. She encouraged me to go and even though she could give a rip about NAMM itself, she’s excited for me and understands that I love it.
Men – good luck finding one like Whit. I almost feel bad for taking her ‘off the market.’ 😉
I’m so proud of Whit. She made it PAST the next round of Teach for America. Today she was supposed to hear about making it to the phone interview round. She got an acceptance letter that said that she gets to PASS the phone interview round and she gets to go straight to the final interview. I can’t put into words how proud I am of her!!! Job well done, Whit. I had no doubt that you’d make it, but I’m so excited for you and for us!!!
Context:
Watching the Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Me: This doesn’t quite make sense.
Whit: You’re Being a boy all over this movie!
Because she’s such a smarty! I’m glad I’ve discovered the intense attractiveness of a sophisticated mind.
Whit left for school this week. Yet again. But this is the next-to-last time that’ll happen. She’s graduating in June. I’m SO proud of her!!!
It came at last. And she didn’t complain even ONCE! She sure loves that niece of hers!
Tragedy struck late last week. Read all about it at:

Anyhow.
Whit put herself aside and has been there for me through the news, the aftermath, the funeral, and so on. I can’t imagine what it was like to deal with me. I was consciously doing my best not to be a burden, but I’m sure I was nonetheless – at least to some extent.
Whit has, yet again, shown herself to be a caring loyal companion. My teammate. Someday (soon?), my life-mate.
I can’t wait.
